CBM UK Chief Executive Kirsty Smith has been shortlisted for the Charity Times Charity Principal of the Year award, recognising the vital role she plays in driving CBM’s work to transform the lives of people with disabilities in the world’s poorest places .
Kirsty joined CBM in 2012, bringing 25 years’ experience in international development, including as Chief Executive of All We Can (formerly the Methodist Relief Development Fund). She is responsible for ensuring our work has the greatest possible impact for people with disabilities and communities at risk, while keeping our values and ethos at the heart of all we do.
Passionate about creating opportunities for the world’s most marginalised people, Kirsty works tirelessly to raise awareness, inspire support for CBM and ensure that every penny donated helps transform lives where the need is greatest.
The Charity Times Awards, run by Charity Times magazine, celebrate best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector. This year’s winners will be announced on 4 October 2017.
