New deadline: See the Way appeal paused from 9 April

Following much prayerful consideration, we have decided to pause our See the Way appeal, which will now end on 9th April. This will allow us to focus our efforts on reaching out to the most vulnerable people affected by the Coronavirus crisis and supporting our partner hospitals, health and community workers in the world’s poorest places during this global pandemic.

Until 9 April, your Easter See the Way gift will still have twice the impact (open link in new tab). Donations received online or by telephone and any gifts sent to us by post before 9 April will still be matched by the UK government; helping people See the Way to a brighter future. This will include helping eye hospitals and eye health workers to cope with the long-term impact Coronavirus will have on their work, in health systems that are already stretched to the limit.

We will re-launch our See the Way appeal later this year for five weeks and the UK government will once again match donations to the appeal during this time through UK Aid Match. In this time of uncertainty, we can’t yet announce the dates for this final period but do contact us by phone or email (open link in new tab) if you’d like to reschedule planned events or church activities and we’ll let you know as soon as possible, to give you time to prepare.

Our phone lines are open – we always love hearing from our supporters, and that hasn’t changed. You, our supporters, have always been there for us and at this challenging time, we’re still here for you. Whether you would like to ask us to pray for someone in your life, make a donation or just have a chat about what we do, we’d love to hear from you. Call us on 0800 567 7000 or email info@cbmuk.org.uk (open link in new tab). Thank you for your continued support in these challenging times.
